Terms of Service

1. The service

Email Digest reads the email that arrived in your Gmail inbox since your previous digest, summarizes and sorts it with AI, and sends you a digest email from your own Gmail account to yourself on the schedule set for your account. Scheduled digests start when you turn them on in Settings, and you can send yourself a digest at any time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms, and you may connect only a Google account you control.
• You are responsible for your Google account and for activity under it, including keeping it secure. Tell us promptly at support@viatech.ae if you think your account has been misused.
• If you connect a work account, make sure your organization allows you to use third-party services with it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to process email you have no right to access;
• attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or probe, scan or test the service's security without our permission;
• interfere with or overload the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
• resell, sublicense or use the service to build a competing product.

4. AI summaries may be inaccurate

Summaries, categories ("Needs action" or "FYI"), action items and dates are generated automatically by AI and can be incomplete, wrong or miss something important. They are a convenience, not a replacement for your email. Always check the original message before acting on it or relying on it, especially for anything financial, legal, medical or time-sensitive. A digest may also be delayed or not sent, so do not rely on it as your only way of noticing important email.

5. Service provided as is

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the extent the law allows. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViaTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or reliance on any summary. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Ending your use

You can stop at any time: disconnect Gmail or delete your account on the Settings page, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the service; where reasonable we will tell you first. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using it and delete your account.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
